Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Ingredients:

    FIRST LAYER:

  • 3/4 C. melted oleo
  • 4 T. sugar
  • 2 C. crushed pretzels
  • SECOND LAYER:

  • 1-8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1-12 oz. Cool Whip
  • THIRD LAYER:

  • 1-6 oz. strawberry jello
  • 1 C. boiling water
  • 2-10 oz. pkgs. Frozen strawberries


Preparation

FIRST LAYER: Mix sugar and pretzels with melted oleo. Press in 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Cool.

SECOND LAYER: Beat together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spoon over cooled pretzel crust. Chill while preparing third layer.

THIRD LAYER: Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add slightly thawed strawberries. Let gel slightly; spoon over second layer. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
