As the child of a Navy man, Larry Hudson lived in a variety of places including Japan, Seattle, Missouri, South Carolina, Turlock, Calif., and Los Angeles. He became a Christian at age 20, recognizing his sin after a series of difficult experiences that humbled him before God.
In 1984, he moved to Lancaster to work at NASA as a student engineer. His roommate, Lance Richards, invited him to VBC and helped him to get involved with the college ministry. Larry has led and been a part of growth group ministries for over 25 years .
He's worked at NASA as a test engineer for more than 29 years. He and his wife, Rhonda, have two children, Lauren and Camryn. In his spare time, Larry enjoys all sports, camping, and going on road trips to Montana to visit Rhonda's family. He's even starting to get into golf.
