We're a Bible-centered, non-denominational church located in Lancaster, California. Our site is continually growing in order to better serve the needs of our church. Find what's new or view upcoming events on the church calendar.
We must understand and believe that we are all sinners. We are God's enemies because we sin in our thoughts, attitudes, and actions. We have broken His laws. So we are separated from Him.
God is Holy, perfect, and just so He cannot accept us with our sinful hearts.
God is the one who initiates our reconciliation back to Himself. He did this by coming to this earth being born as a baby, growing to become a man, and dying on the cross to take our punishment upon himself so we could be forgiven of our sinfulness. We can't try to earn our way back to God by our own efforts. It was completely paid for by Christ's work on the cross.
How do we receive God's forgiveness? By personally believing you are sinful and in need of a right relationship with Him. By coming to understand that it's a personal trust in Jesus' death and resurrection alone that makes you stand right with Him. By being willing to stop living your life in sin and allowing Him to be the Lord (boss) of your life.
This is our prayer as you consider these important things.
If you are visiting for the first time or have recently begun attending Valley Bible Church, we invite you and your family to be our guests at our next Discovery Lunch. Please see the bulletin or calendar for more details. For your convenience, childcare is provided.
This is an informal class with an overview of Valley Bible and a chance to ask any questions. Afterwards we will enjoy a lunch together. If you wish to attend, please fill out a response form located in the pocket on the back of the chairs and place it in an offering box in the foyer.
While our worship service is an essential part of our church, it is only the beginning. We would like everyone who attends Valley Bible to become personally involved in the life of our church.
We believe it is very important for every adult to attend a Growth Group, every young person to have an active part in either our Junior or High School group and every child to participate in our Children's Ministry. We have Adult Education Classes during the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. services, and our College Group meets on Friday nights. If you choose not to become involved at this time, we want you to know you are among people who care.
